To start off 2010, I had this idea of laser show that can be seen on a scroller in 3d.
Unfortunately, this is one of those ideas that didn't work all too well. I re-used the same idea with IFS fractals in "the line age" where it worked much better.
The whole laser projection thing is actually pretty convoluted thing, and I was a bit sad that it didn't end up looking better than it did.
The "disco floor" has a texture generated from the FFT calculated from the music. That, also, didn't work out as well as I'd hoped.
